Robin and Lori have each been in the skincare industry for over 28 years. In an industry that trends harder than almost any other, that kind of longevity doesn't happen by luck. It happens because clients come back. And clients come back because their skin is genuinely better.
During this time, many Triangle-area skincare and medi spas have come and gone, but Skin & Tonic has not only continued to serve the area, we have grown to become one of the top twenty partners of Biologique Recherche in the country!
And in recent years, we’ve grown our team of licensed and experienced estheticians to better serve our clients, making it easier than ever to schedule an incredible facial, shop in person, or ask us for a product recommendation.

Skin & Tonic was founded by Robin and Lori, both licensed estheticians since 1998 and both still actively working with clients in the treatment rooms today. That's not something you find everywhere.
The vibe once you enter our studio on Creedmoor Road is a blend of comfortable luxury meets Southern hospitality. Walking in feels like you’ve just taken a deep breath, left the world outside, and have entered a space created just for you.
Every treatment at Skin & Tonic is delivered by a licensed, trained esthetician who knows your skin. Not a rotating staff member reading from a treatment notes card.
Robin comes from a background in art and brings that same creative eye to skincare. She's the one constantly exploring what's new, what's worthy of our shelves, and what actually belongs on your skin. She believes deeply in the connection between your body, your stress, your food, and the skin you're living in, and that shows up in every treatment she delivers.
Lori is the calm you feel the moment you walk through the door. An esthetician first and operations director second, she has a gift for meeting you exactly where you are (in your life, your routine, and your skincare goals) and building something that genuinely works for you. Her approach is efficient without ever feeling rushed.
Together, Robin and Lori have built a team that carries that same standard throughout the studio. One recent customer said “the knowledge and care was beyond my expectations!”. This is the kind of experience we strive to deliver to all of our clients. Our esthetician Amal has been described by clients as “a true partner in my skin healing journey” and Breeanna’s clients say they leave every appointment "completely relaxed and absolutely glowing". When we do recommend something (a product, a treatment, a new brand we've added to our shelves) it's because we've tested it ourselves, used it in our treatment rooms, and genuinely believe it's going to help you. Robin brought PAUME home from vacation before ever putting it on our shelves. Lori added Creme VIP O2 to her own daily routine before recommending it to a single client. That's just how we work.
